HOW to contribute to the rebuilt of the industry?
Train and consult workforces to safely and timely reach the targets
Exercise on CO2 reduction and new look at indicators
Establish and live transparent values to avoid that culture eats strategy for breakfast“

Purpose why are we doing this?
Guidance to empower stakeholders (1)
to reach Green/Clean Industrial Deal targets (2)
in heavy, energy intensive industries (3)
(1) Focus stakeholders: Workforce up to Management & Leadership
Support Social Dialogue
Strategically integrate subcontracting companies
(2a) Training/Operation: roll out of LEAN methodology to reach needed maturity level
getting FIT prior the Deal & perform CO2 reduction programs as continuous improvement
(2b) Implementation/New technology: integrate in steel operations with LEAN/AGILE Project
Management
getting the real Deal = FIT for 55 (i.e. 55% less emmissions in 2030 than in 1990)
(3) Heavy industries: Pilot is Steel to create a Pull factor also on Energy & Construction
3
Direction where are we going?
Deploy Green/Clean Industrial Deal targets according operations risk level
safety (1), quality/timing (2), costs/CO2 (3)
(1) safety: priority in hazardous environments of heavy industry, increased during rebuilts
create LEAN standards for trustful, less hierarchical communication on shop floor
(2) quality/timing: eliminate bottlenecks and minimize delays of new technology implementation
milestone & risk management with LEAN/AGILE Project Management
assess and manage with safety (1) and costs (3)
use LEAN standards & skills in implementation
(3) CO2/costs: optimize output of production and reduce CO2 as a standard
reduce waste and improve customer oriented flow with LEAN standards
4
Progress how are we doing?
Orient on leading entities to reach Green/Clean Industrial Deal targets
